The Navajo County Jr. Miss Pageant is a competition-based program designed to develop confidence within the participating young ladies.
The topic will be An American Tradition. The Queen contestants will be required to give a 2-minute speech, Teen Queen 1-½ minute speech, and Lil’ Buckaroo will give a 45-second speech.
This event is for Junior and Senior 4-H and features competition in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway, and steer riding.
Navajo County Fair 4-H, pee wee, junior, and senior horse achievement roping competition.
This event is for children ages 5 to 8 and features tykes competing in Western Showmanship, Western Pleasure, and Trail.

The Little Buckaroo Rodeo is open to contestants age 4 – 12 years old. Events offered vary by age but include Sheep Riding, Calf Riding, Steer Riding, Dummy Roping, and Barrel Racing. Call-ins are on Wednesday, September 4th, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at (928) 524-4757.
